Capacity Building of Partners |
Pakistan Coalition for
Education has more than 130
member organizations
working in 55 districts of Pakistan consisting of CBOs,
NGOs, different networks and associations. PCE is
struggling to build capacity of its members on different
issues which contribute in achieving the goals of the
coalition. PCE itself organizes different trainings
/workshops and facilitates the participation of its
partners in other national, regional, and international
capacity building events.

The objective of
Budget Tracking Workshops was to understand the
budget process, ways and means for collecting
relevant information, role of various
stakeholders and stakeholders’ contributions in
budget making and tracking process. This
workshop was held in all the four provinces and
more then 100 members were capacitated on the
above theme

Advocacy Workshop |

This workshop was
organized for the PCE members, with the
objective to enhance members’/networks’,
knowledge and skills to become strong advocates
for macro and micro policy reforms at local,
provincial and national level. The ultimate aim
of this initiative was learning to work together
along with stakeholders to identify issues and
challenges in order to improve the quality of
education through a culturally sensitive,
robust, and effective advocacy and lobbying
process. The workshop was held in Islamabad and
attended by 40 members of PCE from across
Pakistan
